Our Facilities were opened in August of 1998 and we added a second building, our Enrichment Center, in August of 2002. We have 17 classrooms and 6 playgrounds to assure age-appropriate programs and flexible scheduling. In 2010 Kids R kids opened our Avalon Park Child Care Center.

Our facility is maintained and kept extremely clean due in large part to our Facilities Maintenance, Norman Therrien. Mr. Norman doubles as a bus driver for field trips and after-school pick-up. He works hard to ensure the grounds and the classrooms are safe and clean and that there is always plenty of sand in the sandboxes! The teachers really appreciate that we have Mr. Norman on staff at all times so that they can focus on your children and know that their facility needs are taken care of.

In addition to the maintenance department and professional cleaning crew, we contract with Swisher Hygiene weekly to ensure our common areas such as sinks, bathrooms and water fountains are hospital clean. We also employ Swisher to ensure the facility is odor-free, but not overwhelming when you walk in the building and the classrooms. And finally, once a month, each of the 20 bathrooms is pressure washed with a safe and effective acid-free chemical (used in hospitals) to clean and sanitize all of the tiled areas, basins and bowls.

Safety and maintenance includes being a clean and healthy center. We go the extra mile to ensure the health of the center is consistently maintained!

Classrooms

Each classroom is designed with children in mind. Tempered glass walls surround each classroom from floor to ceiling, enabling children to see their surrounding environment. Each preschool classroom is equipped with "boy" and "girl" rest rooms as well as hand washing sinks for optimal convenience.

The Kid's Cafe'

Our Cafeteria is spacious and bright. We believe in promoting a healthy diet and incorporate many fresh fruits and vegetables into our weekly menu. Miss Eda is our Kitchen manager. She knows how to create delicious and healthy meals the children (and staff!) enjoy. Be sure to ask for a sample menu when you tour the center.

Outdoor Play Areas.

Our outdoor play areas are used for running, sliding, swinging and organized group games. You will also find our cirriculum being used as children plant a garden, dig for bugs or envision pictures in the clouds. We need to mention that safety is our number one rule, both inside and on the playground. Each staff member is trained in supervision, first aid and CPR.

Security and Internet viewing.
Security and safety are our primary concerns. Each building is equipped with the latest technology for Closed Circuit Television and a 24 hour 7 day a week recording system, including the main playground and common areas. In addition, the Enrichment Center has a magnetic key card system for allowing access to the building. The Main Center is always attended by a Manager or Supervisor so that you are greeted professionally and cheerfully and identification can be checked. Visitors and first-time parents must check-in at the Main Center front desk.

Our Check-in/Check-out systems is state of the art and allows us to scan for designated individuals quickly and efficiently as well as alert us to people you may be concerned about.

Internet viewing is available through Toddlerlink in our Main Center. The fee is approximately $20 per month. The service is available only to registered parents who have been verified by us to Toddlerlink. For information about this option, click on the button labeled "View Your Child" in the menu bar.
